Making coupons work for you

This Saturday was 20x the Optimum point at Shoppers Drug Mart. You get points on the amount before coupons (if they are $ off coupons, not free product coupons). This Saturday I used something like $20 in coupons. $20 in coupons was worth 4000pts on Saturday; so I got 4000 points without paying that $20 out of my pocket. On a bonus redemption day (where you get $200 off when redeeming 75,000pts instead of the usual $150) 1000 Optimum points is worth $2.67. So the 4000 points I got on my coupons is worth $10.67 in products on bonus redemption day.

Bottom line I saved $20 and I'll get $10.67 worth of free stuff on the next redemption day. $30.67 in my pocket just for using coupons. That ain't so shabby!

  1. CouponChief.com has tons of deals and discounts for just about everything that you can think of. If you shop in any store online, search CouponChief’s database of online coupon codes to find money-saving offers that apply to your purchase. I always check for at least free shipping coupons, but I often find so many more great deals than just free shipping.
